 Senior PHP Software Developer

ConsumerTrack is looking for a technical leader to join our team as a Senior PHP Developer/Team Lead. In order to contribute, improve processes, and lead a team, the ideal candidate for this position will be a hands-on developer, leader, and mentor to other software developers. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. ConsumerTrack, Inc. has hundreds of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies and banks to small companies looking to grow rapidly. Our Lead Generation services assist all types of businesses in their growth plans to acquire new customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain systems, code and processes
• Take primary responsibility for the development of systems, code and processes
• Mentor technology staff regarding best practices
• Maintain existing hardware and software deployments
• Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and guidelines
• Collaborate with company departments to improve performance and increase efficiency
• Take initiative in the definition of technology projects and procedures
• Compile, compose, and distribute technology documentation

Skills and Requirements:

• Solid understanding of design, coding, and testing patterns
• Experience with MySQL 5 / Innodb including complex selects, inserts, and updates with joins
• Expertise in cross-browser development (IE, Firefox, Safari), web usability, and interface design
• 5+ years practical experience coding OOP in PHP (PHP5+)
• 5+ years practical experience in architecture, application and systems designs
• Advanced knowledge of HTML/Javascript/CSS
• Version control experience (Mercurial preferred, Subversion okay)
• Ticketing/Tracking System experience (Redmine preferred, Trac okay)
• Creative yet efficient problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
• Self motivated, high energy, and results oriented
