ConsumerTrack.com is looking for a jack-of-all-trades type, who is capable of coordinating efforts across varying functions and willing to jump in where needed on a variety of Web projects. This dynamic individual is a big-picture thinker, who can see and align all the little details that comprise it. We need someone with strong analytical skills and a creative flair, who enjoys writing and editing, and is passionate about the Web.
Must be detail-orientated, have outstanding organizational skills, and have the ability to communicate effectively with a multitude of personalities. This position offers the unique opportunity to learn and grow into multiple different areas of Web production, including project management, traffic coordination, marketing, usability/user experience design, social media and search.
Responsibilities:
- Project management – assign tasks and manage production deadlines across multiple divisions
Define requirements; estimate resources, schedule deliverables, maintain project documentations
Develop and proactively manage project plans & schedules. Monitor projects to ensure completion within defined schedule and budget.
Proactively identify and communicate issues and risks and escalate to the appropriate entities for resolution.
- Quality improvement – identify areas for website improvements and coordinate completion
Stay current with the latest internet/interactive technologies and seek out opportunities to improve our digital products.
- Editorial / Production – edit and publish online content, as well as identify new content opportunities
- Process improvement – identify and implement ways to improve the production cycle
- Other tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- 1 – 2 years project management or traffic coordination experience for an agency or website
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to read HTML and communicate needs effectively with programmers and developers
- Must be Web-savvy with familiarity with Web 2.0 trends and technologies
- Strong eye for design and quality
- Knowledge of usability best practices a plus
- Web marketing knowledge, with SEO experience a plus
- Strong command of the English language, with experience in editing or copywriting a plus
- Strong team relationship, organizational and analytical skills
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and all Microsoft-related programs
